Our students are strongly encouraged to explore interests outside the classroom curriculum. At UAS, we constantly strive to offer a wide range of engaging activities within the ASA Program. We research and select the activities, mindful of the fact that a successful ASA program should include activities that foster the overall development of children where they can explore their talent, develop leadership skills, build bonds with roles models, improve their academic performance and have fun!
At UAS we believe that a robust program of student athletics supports and contributes to the overall educational program. We provide competitive athletic opportunities to as many students as possible, believing participation in athletics will enhance the overall development of the student. Our athletics program strives for broad participation and competitive excellence, while encouraging the highest levels of sportsmanship and fair play.
The UAS Parents, Teachers, Students Organization's mission is to enhance the academic and social experience of the students and staff, while supplementing communication efforts between the school and parents/guardians. Aside from the regular fundraisers, our PTSO is highly committed to organizing events that enhance and strengthen our community bonds, from raising awareness for diabetes and breast cancer, to organizing specific sessions with our school counselors, relevant external visitors, and much more.
