Festival Centre, Dubai Festival City was announced as the Best Event Venue in Dubai during the recent Best in Dubai Awards 2008 glittering ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Dubai.

Best in Dubai Awards offered Dubai residents a chance to celebrate everything they love about living in Dubai by choosing their favourite places and destinations in an online voting poll.

Events such as ESPN X-Games, Dubai Desert Rock, Urban Desert Festival, Santana and Scorpions concerts have rocketed Festival Centre to the top of the category ahead of nine other nominees.

In addition, Festival Centre collected the Runner Up Award in the Best Shopping Mall in Dubai category confirming the stellar first year of the Centreís operations.
